AC-DC Metrology (Course No. TRC 4004)

This course is designed to instruct and evaluate the user on basic concepts of AC-DC Metrology.. The course is organized into four sections, selectable from the main menu:

• Principles of AC-DC Metrology;
• Using AC-DC Transfer Standards;
• Inductance and Capacitance; and
• Immittance and AC Ratio.

Sections are further broken down into lessons, selectable from section menus. At the end of each lesson the learner is returned to the section menu.

Each of these units contain topics which are selectable from a section menu. Some of the topics are further broken down into lessons. Each menu provides buttons to return to the previous menu or the main menu.

Metrology for Calibration Lab Personnel (Course No. TRC 4011) Recommended Preparation Course for the CCT Test

This course serves as a general overview of metrology principles and practices and is designed specifically to help calibration laboratory personnel prepare for the American Society of Quality (ASQ) Certified Calibration Technician examination.

The course is comprised of six sections based on the CCT body of knowledge:

• General Metrology
• Measurement Systems
• Calibration Systems
• Applied Mathematics and Statistics
• Quality SYstems and Standards
• Uncertainty

Each section has a quiz comprised of the type of questions found in the CCT examination. Each student will receive a copy of the "CCT Primer" published by Quality Council of Indiana, a copy of Fluke's "Calibration Philosophy in Practice" and a copy of "The Metrology Handbook" by Measurement Quality Division, ASQ.
